The Glass line ruler is kind of a precision optical tool, which is often used together with measuring equipment such as ratio length gauge, measuring machine, universal tool microscope, universal measuring machine, coordinate boring machine, coordinate grinder, etc. It is mainly used for measurement calibration and optical positioning. When the line ruler is used for measurement or positioning, it should be used in conjunction with a reading microscope, an optical reading head or an optoelectronic microscope.
Glass line ruler can be divided into reference line ruler, standard line ruler and working line ruler. The reference line ruler and the standard line ruler are used for the transmission of the value of the length measurement. The working line ruler is used for measuring and positioning of measuring instruments and precision lathes.
