The sample is oxidized into titratable ions through a cracking furnace using the oxidation method, and then titrated in a titration cell. The sulfur content is calculated based on the amount of electricity consumed during the electrolytic titration process and Faraday’s law. The microcoulometric sulfur chlorine analyzer is suitable for light petroleum products with a boiling point of 40-310C. Samples with sulfur content ranging from 0.5 to 1000ppm and samples with sulfur content greater than 1000ppm should be diluted and measured. This instrument can also measure the content of chlorine.
