Introduction

It’s used to test the shear strength of cohesive soil either in lab or site, more portable and easy to operate.

The whole set of instrument consists of 1 spring torsion meter, 3 cross heads of different sizes and 1 allen wrench. Using three different heads, the test range is 0~0.2, 0~1, 0~2.5kg/cm2, the dial scale is divided into 50 scales, and the test accuracy is better than 5%.
